INTRODUCING,  THE FANTASTIC 6 .  . .



 Zigfred Maceren Diaz known as “Justice D” in the college of law is currently a senior law student at the Southwestern University college of law. He spent two years at the University of Sto Tomas in Manila but later on transferred to Cebu Institute of Technology and graduated with a degree in Industrial engineering. He finished his elementary and high school at Bob Hughes Christian academy and graduated as the most outstanding student of the batch. He is the project coordinator of the LEX PARETO NOTES. Currently, He is the chief operations and Human resource officer of St. Francis Memorial Homes, one of the fastest growing funeral companies in central Visayas. He is a member of Bible Baptist Church of Cebu City. With His God given ability to lead, he has been a youth leader for several years in the youth department of his church and is occasionally a featured speaker in various religious radio programs and churches across the country.  

Zigfred is happily married to Zenith Gerodias Diaz, a licensed Social worker. They have a son, Zed Avalon Diaz. Currently they are residing at Talisay City. You can his new blog site at www.zdiaz.com

Zigfred's contribution to the Lex Pareto notes was the choice of the name for the reviewer, the Layout and design, guidelines for the making, graphs and overall marketing strategy.  He also did the subjects on Remedial law, Taxation, Legal ethics and Criminal law.


 

Alrey Igot Ouano is the son of Oscar Ouano and Dra. Corazon Ouano.  He is currently a senior law student at Southwestern University College of law. He finished his elementary education at St. Alphonsus Catholic School and his high school at the Don Bosco Missionary Seminary. He got his degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology at Velez College. Initially, after graduation he decided to become a doctor and took up medicine but later on decided to take up law instead . He is currently residing at the 2nd floor of Our Lady of the Rule Hospital, 2085 Humay-humay Street Lapu-lapu City, Pajo. Cebu City Philippines.

 

Alrey's contribution to the Lex Pareto notes was the reviewer in Political law. He also contributed ideas with regards to the guidelines for the making.

 



 

Louella Arreglo Matsumoto is a fourth year law student. She was educated at the University of San Carlos where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree.

 

In the early part of her professional career, she served as the Production Planning and Inventory Control Section Head of a PEZA-registered Japanese manufacturing company. Later on, together with her husband, she stayed in Japan and China. While sojourning abroad, she acquired proficiency in the Japanese language through a two-year comprehensive study at the Inter-Cultural Institute of Japan. She passed the 1996 Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 held in Tokyo.

 

After returning to the Philippines, she got employed at the Consular Office of Japan in Cebu of the Japanese Embassy where she served for five years.

 

“Loi”, as she is fondly called by her family and friends, is happily married to Shigeki Matsumoto.

 

Loi's contribution to the Pareto notes were Civil law  and Mercantile law. (Together with Salud in Civil and Noli in Mercantile)

 


Maria Salud Dionaldo Barillo, is a senior law student at Southwestern University. The word “Salud” means health or healthy in Spanish. She is named after her doctor, Dr. Maria Salud F. Kho. Salud hails from Guihulngan, Oriental Negros. She is the youngest daughter of Judge Hector Brillo Barillo and Mrs. Victoria Dionaldo Barillo. She finished her Elementary at Guihulngan South Central School and her High School at St. Paul’s University in Dumaguete City. She spent her college days at Cebu Doctors’ University. This lady is now a licensed Medical Technologist, who desires to make a difference in the field of law having righteousness and justice as her guiding principle. She believes that God is the Supreme Judge who will ultimately bring justice to all.

 

“Salud” as she is commonly called is currently residing at Guadalupe, Cebu City. One of her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 9:10 ~ “The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding”. (amplified version)

 

Together with Loi, Salud worked on Civil law and helped in the making of Mercantile law together with Noli Dayanan.

 




 

Danell Maravillas Fernandez hails from a town called Vallehermoso located at the province Oriental Negros. He took his grade school in the same town and continued to finish his high school at the Colegio de Sto. Tomas Recoletos where during his third year he entered the seminary of the Recollect order. He then pursued his calling at Casriaco Recoletos Seminary at Baguio City and graduated with an AB Philosophy degree. Due to personal reasons, he left the seminary and did a teaching stint at a high school in his home town.

 

After a year, he enrolled in the college of law at Silliman University, Dumaguete City but later on transferred to Southwestern University after two years. He is currently a senior law student.

 

Dan did the Lex Pareto notes reviewer in Labor law.

 


 

Nolito Morales Dayanan is a native of Baganga Davao Oriental. He finished his elementary education at the Carcar (Cebu) elementary school. His high school education was completed at Our Lady’s academy in his hometown. He decided to enroll in seminary and spent 3 years at the San Carlos Seminary college. For personal reasons, he decided to pursue his studies at the University of San Carlos and graduated with a degree in AB Philosphy.

 

“Nholie” as his friends call him is an avid chess player. He is a silver medalist in the 2004, 2005 SIGLAKAS. (SWU intramurals) He is an active member of several school organizations such as the Bar operations, Mock bar committee and the Lex review committee. He also had opportunity to serve as chairman of the Lex review committee.

 

Together with Loi, and Salud, Noli did the reviewer for the Lex Pareto notes mercantile law reviewer.
